Conduct/Dismissal Policy: Students at the Tao Institute Inc. are men and women who are committed to developing health and wellness in their future clients. An integral part of achieving this goal is the expectation that students will conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner at all times during school attendance and in their future endeavors. Consequently the following is an all-encompassing policy regarding student conduct. Tao Institute Inc. reserves the right to suspend or terminate any student whose conduct is detrimental to the learning environment. This includes, but is not limited to, conduct:
• By students, faculty, or staff that is detrimental within the classroom environment.
• That interferes with the well being of the fellow students and/or faculty, and staff members.

Professional etiquette also requires a call if an absence or tardiness is necessary, students are expected to do the same and notify school personnel if they will be tardy or absent.
Attendance is recorded for all classes: Because the nature of the coursework is highly interactive, excessive absences and tardiness will make the program extremely difficult to complete successfully.Students are required to complete all courses in their selected program to earn a certificate. Students with extenuating circumstances may make special arrangements to complete course missed at the discretion of the instructor and/or school director. Tao Institute Inc. reserves the right to withdraw any student who has excessive absences or tardiness.
